3 Things to Never Do on Mobile Marketing
Mobile marketing is a new kind of marketing strategy that both small businesses and large corporations are using. In fact, Business Insider reports that in 2011, companies spent $5.3 billion on mobile advertising. Then Mobile Marketing Association recently reported that the total estimate for Mobile Marketing spend has already reached $10.46 billion in 2013. This is dues to the huge increase in mobile devices like tablets and smart phones in the past few years.
But before you jump into the bandwagon, here are three things you should never do when using mobile marketing:
1. Don’t use QR codes without a specific strategy in place.
2. Don’t use content on mobile unless it’s specifically optimized for a mobile experience.
3. Don’t fail to recognize the importance of “SoLoMo” marketing.
